Services for Bevel Lee Briggs were at 2 p.m. today in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Paul Taylor, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Graveside services were under the auspices of Isom Masonic Lodge. Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Briggs died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital.

A native of Commanche, he had been a Borger resident for 42 years. He was a retired pipefitter, member of the Baptist church, Isom Lodge No. 1242, Scottish Rite, and Odd Fellows.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one son, Ronald Lee of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Kevin, Jody and Trey, all of Amarillo.

Pallbearers were members of the Isom Masonic Lodge.
