Obituary:
LEXINGTON, Okla. - Harold H. HUMMER, 80, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2001.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett, Texas. Arrangements are by Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home of Midwest City, Okla.
Mr. HUMMER was born in Huntoon, Texas, on Aug. 17, 1921, to Olive and Beulah Hummer. He worked for many years as a diesel mechanic for John Deere. He was a gifted mechanic, loving husband and father and was baptized at the age of 10 and remained a faithful Christian all his life.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel of the home; four daughters, Charlotte Hummer WALKER of Amarillo, Texas, Treela VAUGHN of Lexington, Olive WYMAN of Ripley, N. Y., and Sherry Hummer HILL of Lubbock, Texas; a son Clyde HUMMER of Perryton, Texas; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Melvena Hummer HAZEN of Independence, Kan.; and numerous relatives and friends.
