OBITUARY
LEXINGTON, Okla. - Mabel HUMMER, 81, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007, in Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Friends Church in Booker, Texas.
Mrs. HUMMER was born June 25, 1926 in El Paso, Texas. She was married to her late husband, Harold HUMMER, for 59 years. She was a devout Christian, nurse, artist, musician, fisherman and homemaker, raising seven children. She lived in Booker for many years before retiring at Lake Eufaula with her husband. They then moved to Lexington to be closer to family.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
Survivors include four daughters, Charlotte WALKER, Treela VAUGHN, Olive WYMAN and Sherry HILL; a son, Clyde HUMMER; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 9 to 10:50 a.m. Saturday at the church.
