*Obituary Van H.
Van H. Foster, 57 died at 5 p.m. Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona. Foster, a resident of Phoenix, was a former longtime resident of the Tri-City area and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Borger.

The body will be returned to Borger where funeral services will be under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; two sons, Van R. of 1008 Pine and Larry of 902 Elmore; five daughters, Mrs. Harry Koneskey [sic], 902 Elmore, Mrs. Jerry Noble, Phoenix, Mrs. Neil Bundrick, Borger, Mrs. Dwain Coggin, Idalou; his mother, Mrs. Delia Foster, Tulia.

Also five brothers, Don, of Happy, Bill of Washington, D.C., Waller of Cactus, Lloyd of Dallas and Glen Foster of Amarillo and five grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial for Van H. Foster, 57, who died Saturday en route to a hospital after suffering a heart attack, will be in Borger, Tex. Arrangements are by Lundberg-Hansen Mortuary.

Mr. Foster, who came to Phoenix five months ago, lived at 8734 N. 28th Dr.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; two sons, Van Ray and Larry, both of Borger; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Konechney, Mrs. Patsy Coggin, and Mrs. Judy Bundrick, all of Borger, and Mrs. Lillian Noble and Suzanne Foster, both of Phoenix; five brothers, Don of Happy, Tex., Lloyd of Fort Worth, Tex., Glen of Okmulgee, Okla., Waller of Cactus, Tex., and William of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Mrs. Delie Foster, Tulia, Tex., and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for Van H. Foster will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Jeff Moore, officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of Simpson's Funeral Home.

Foster, 57, died Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona where he resided at the time of his death. He was a former longtime Borger resident.

Funeral services for Hazel Ray Foster, 84, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, and the Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Lake Meredith Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Foster died at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 1989, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

A native of Oklahoma, she had been an area resident for 80 years. She was a housewife and member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Van H. Foster in 1960, and a daughter, Diane Foster in 1948.

Survivors include two sons, Van "Bozo" Foster of Borger; Larry Foster of Dallas; five daughters, Mary Konechney of Borger; Patsy Kelley of Arlington; Lillian Noble of Lubbock; Judy Herbst of Lampasas; Suzane Kerwin of Fort Worth; an adopted daughter, Linda Zuniga and family of Fritch; a sister, Opal Wake of Alpena, Ark.; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
