Van R. "Bozo" Foster, 77, died Monday, March 3rd, 2008 in Borger, Texas.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Skaggs, former pastor and Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dumas officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Van was born on January 20, 1931 in Amarillo and had been a resident of Borger for 70 years. He was a retired plumber, member of the Pipe Fitters Union, and the Calvary Baptist Church. Married Peggy Frith on June 13, 1953 in Borger.

He served in the U S Army.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy of the home, three sons - Brad Foster and wife, Pam of Dumas, Bryan Foster and fiancee' Susan Forman, and Brett Foster and wife Cindy all of Borger., brother - Larry Foster of Dallas, five sisters - Mary Konechney and Lillian Noble both of Lubbock, Patsy Kelley and Sue Kerwin both of Arlington, Tx., Judy Herbst of Lampasas, Tx, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo 79106, or to Calvary Baptist Church, 602 N. McGee, Borger 79007, or to your favorite charity.

Peggy Foster, passed away, Wednesday, November 19, 2014, in Amarillo. Services are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Borger, with Brad Foster as officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Peggy was born in Vernon, on February 7, 1936 to Woodrow “Curley” and Bert Woodruff Frith. She married Van “Bozo” Foster on June 13, 1953 in Borger. She was a resident of Hutchinson County for over 60 years and a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was director of the Senior Adult Department. Peggy recently retired as bookkeeper at Jerry’s Plumbing.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on March 3, 2008, and her brother, Gary Pat Frith on August 29, 2012.

She is survived by her three sons, Brad Foster and wife, Pam of Dumas, Bryan Foster and wife, Susan of Enid, OK, and Brett Foster and wife, Cindy of Borger; a brother Jack Frith and wife, June of Plano; and a sister-in-law Deanie Frith of Amarillo. Peggy was blessed with eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
