*Obituary
Ferrel B. "Pete" Harris, 64, of 301 Sage Mesa of Fritch died Wednesday morning at the V.A. Hospital in Amarillo.
A retired carpenter, he was a native of Lark, Oklahoma, and a Fritch resident for 60 years.
He was a veteran of WWII in the army.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Harris of the home; one son, Ferrel Harris of Fort Worth; one daughter, Mrs. Susie Hollis of Fritch; one brother, Wilburn of Borger; two sisters, Mary Jo Stout of Anderson, Missouri, Joy Wood of Fritch; five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Glenneth Harrington, pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
