Funeral services for E.W. (Jack) Martin, 56, long-time Tri-City resident, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Cameron, pastor, officiating.
Martin died at 9 p.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital. He was employed by the Phillips Chemical Company at the Plains Plant. He made his home in Borger at 517 West Jefferson.
Survivors include his wife, Eva; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Cromwell and Mrs. Delbert Sahli, both of Borger; a son, Don Martin of Lubbock; his father, Austin L. Martin of Hominy, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. D.E. Langston of Borger and Mrs. Dimmer Harrison of Nowata, Oklahoma; three brothers, John Martin of Borger, Andrew Martin of Odessa and Delbert Martin of California.
Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson's Funeral Home. Masonic rites will be held by Isom Lodge 1242 and all Masons are asked to meet at the Lodge at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

MIDLAND - Eva Naomi Martin, 97, formerly of Borger, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in Midland.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Hopkins officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Borger with Roy Haley officiating.
Mrs. Martin was born Nov. 12, 1909, in Allen County, Delaware, Ohio to Evelyn and Jacob Culver. On May 29, 1929, she married E.W. "Jack" Martin in Borger.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelyne Cromwell of Midland; a son, Donald Ray Martin; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Hospice of Midland, P.O. Box 2621, Midland, TX 79702; or the Mabee Center at Manor Park, 2208 N. Loop 250, Midland, TX 79707.
