Mary Frances (Palmer) Shelton
September 26, 1944 ~ December 31, 2019
Mary Frances Shelton 75 of Amarillo formerly of Borger died December 31, 2019 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be 2:00 Pm Tuesday January 8, 2020 at Highland Park Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mary was born September 26, 1944 in Groesbeck, Texas to Hubert and Mary (Hulce) Palmer. She was member of Church of Christ at Borger. She loved to read, do crosswords, volleyball, softball working with girl scouts and cub scouts. Also, she loved making chili with elk members. Preceding her in death is her parents and a brother Kelley Palmer.
Surviving is her sons Darrel Shelton of Amarillo and Carl Shelton of Almagordo, NM. Daughter Ginger Heller and husband Guy of Amarillo. Brothers Coyt Palmer of South Texas and Troy Palmer of Cordell, OK. Sisters Julia Fortune of Borger and Mona Dees of Mountain Home Arkansas. Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
