PERRYTON - Deanne Robertson, 47, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Deanne Robertson was born Dec. 4, 1959, in Amarillo to Bill and Von Eva Robertson. She had lived in Perryton for 12 years, moving from Anton. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was the head girls basketball coach in Perryton for 10 years, with a record of 215 wins, 104 losses. Her team went to the playoffs nine consecutive years, winning four district championships. A highlight of her career was winning the championship trophy at the 2001 Caprock Holiday Tournament.

Survivors include a daughter, Alyssa Robertson of Perryton; her parents of Wheeler; a brother, Steve Robertson and wife Pam of Amarillo; a sister, Shelly Mullins and husband Keith of Merkel; four nephews, Landry, Jeremy and Baylor Mullins of Merkel and Cole Ragland of Wichita Falls; and a niece, Katie Robertson of Amarillo.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to the Texas Girls Coaches Association or the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, in care of the funeral home, P.O. box 1256, Perryton, TX 79070.
