Funeral Services For Mrs. Williams To Be Held Today

Funeral services for Mrs. D.C. Williams will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 3 o'clock at the First Baptist Church. Rev. R.H. Cagle, pastor, will conduct the rites.

Interment will be in West Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams died at her home here Monday. She was 83 years of age.

She was born in Kentucky on March 2, 1862, and came to Texas in 1883. She has lived in Hereford since coming to this county from Lubbock in 1928.

She was married to D.C. Williams on March 20, 1880. Her husband died on September 21, 1921. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. R.L. Cocanougher and Mrs. W.T. Graham of Hereford, and Mrs. T.T. Fisher of Lubbock; two sons, W.W. Williams of O'Donnel and C.E. Williams of Denver, Colorado; 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; and one nephew, A.L. Vaughn of Kansas City, Missouri.
