*Obituary Charles Roberson
The sad news of the death of Chas. Roberson, one of Boom's most respected citizens, which occurred at 7 o'clock Thursday afternoon, was spread abroad in Hereford at an early hour today. Mr. Roberson had been low for sometime with tuberculosis and for the past few weeks no hope for his recovery has been entertained by relatives and friends.
Deceased will be greatly missed in his community where the high standard of Christian life which he has always led has won for him the esteem and admiration of all who knew him. He was a strict member of the Baptist church and a valuable citizen.
The funeral services will be conducted at the city cemetery this afternoon at four o'clock by Rev. J.T. Burnett of Canyon City.
The Brand joins in offering deepest sympathy to the bereaved relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Roberson, mother of Charles Roberson, were conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Hobbs, N.M., with the Rev. Truitt Allen officiating. Burial was in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Gililliland [sic] Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roberson, 81, died Thusday [sic] at 12:25 a.m. in Jones Rest Home, Clovis, N.M., after an illness of 13 months. Born May 23, 1872, in Cleburne, she and Charles Roberson were married Nov. 19, 1890. They moved to Deaf Smith County from Cleburne in 1902, and he died in 1906.
Survivors also include a daughter, Mrs. W.A. Wilson, Hobbs, five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
