Peggy Sue Williams, 72, of Coahoma, died Wednesday at Martin County Hospital in Stanton. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Friday at Coahoma Cemetery with Pastor Doug Shelley of East Side Baptist Church officiating.

She was born January 23, 1942 to Geraldine and J.C. Jackson in Big Spring.

She grew up in Colorado City and graduated from Loraine High School.

She received her Associates of Arts degree from Howard College.

She married Tommy Williams of Loraine in Colorado City and lived most of her life in Howard County.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Coahoma.

She worked in the Big Spring State Hospital Administration offices until she retired due to ill health.

She loved her grandkids, horses, dogs and all animals. She also loved going to Ruidoso, NM.

She is survived by her husband Tommy Williams of Coahoma; three sons: Robert Williams and wife Olga of Odessa, Eddie Williams of Big Spring and Michael Williams of Dallas; six grandchildren: Amy Martin of Douglasfield, GA, Robert Tyler Williams of Bakersfield, CA, Kayla Jo Williams of Big Spring, Thomas Froylan Williams of Big Spring, Shaun Williams and Ashley Williams both of San Francisco; great grandchildren: Emri Martin of Douglasfield, Haszen Edwards and Jayven Edwards of Big Spring; two sisters: Carol Lloyd of Colorado City and Barbara Welch and husband Adrian of McDowell Ranch; her special friends: LaBeth Montgomery of Big Spring, Teresa Williams of Big Spring and Adrienne Bides of Forsan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Geraldine and J.C. Jackson.

Those serving as pallbearers are Shane Clark, Don Osborne, Manuel Rodriguez, Tarin Calderon, Thomas Williams and Troy McClendon. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Williams and Brad James.
