Funeral Home Obituary: the Nalley-Pickle & Welch

February 15, 1933 - June 5, 2017

Patsy Mae James Brown, 84, of Big Spring, passed to her eternal home Monday, June 5, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born February 15, 1933 to Pat James and Georgia Henry Eaton James in Anson, Texas.

She married Clarence E. Brown, Sr. and they moved to Big Spring in 1957 from Abilene. She worked at Webb Air Force Base many years until its closing, then worked at the Big Spring Veterans Administration Hospital for 21 years, retiring in 1994.

Patsy was a member of the West Highway 80 Church of Christ.

She is survived by four daughters, Ardelia Jones and Patsy Brown, both of Big Spring, Ann Carson of San Antonio and Mary Palmore of Las Vegas, Nevada; one son, Jimmy Brown of Big Spring; two brothers, Billy James of California and Jimmy James of Abilene; and four sisters, Creobis Brown of Fort Worth, Iola Eaton of Bryan, and Lenora Frances and Devora Dobson both of Boston, Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Charles Brown; two brothers, Charles Earl James and Leovis James; and two sisters, Ruby James and Eva James.

Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
