Tyrone "Weenie" Young, 43, of Kalamazoo, Mich., formerly of Lubbock, departed this life on August 8, 2008 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Young, Jr. and Neva J. (Young) Burrell; and a sister, Verdell Mitchell.
Tyrone is survived by his daughter, Tiesha "Ty-Stick" Norris of Lubbock; two sisters, Wanda Tungate of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and Stephanie Young of Lubbock; one brother, David Wiggins; and a host of relatives and friends.
