*Obituary
Funeral services for Margaret Thiessen, age 37 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Mennonite Evangelical Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating. A private burial will follow at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Margaret was born November 15, 1985 to Agatha and Jake Thiessen. She was diagnosed with systemic rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 5, which impacted every aspect of her life, but never dictated what she could achieve. Margaret lived her life to the very fullest, facing any obstacle in her path with extraordinary strength and resolve. Through life's challenges, she took solace in her personal relationship with Christ and leaned on the support of a dedicated mother and loving family. After completing a certificate in herbal retail management, her dream of managing a health food store came true in 2015 when she became manager of Tree of Life Health Food Store in Seminole. Margaret touched the lives of many with her unwavering cheerful presence, regardless of any hardships she was going through.

Margaret passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 after a short but joy-filled life. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Jake and Agatha Thiessen of Seminole; two brothers, Peter and wife Martha Thiessen of Lubbock, Texas; Neil Thiessen of San Angelo, Texas; and one sister, Mary Redecop and husband David of Seagraves, Texas. She was a loving aunt to five nieces and two nephews.
