Funeral services for Katharina Friesen Froese, will be held Monday, August 21, 2023, at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Seminole at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Isaac Fehr and assisting Pastor Dave Klassen officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Seminole. Katharina Friesen Froese, of Seminole passed away August 14, 2023, in Denver City.
She was born March 30, 1963, in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua to Cornelius and Maria Rempel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Maria Rempel, and son-in-law Heinrich Knelsen.
Katharina Friesen Froese is survived by her husband Abraham B. Froese of Seminole and her three children Abraham R. Froese and wife Susan G. Froese of Seminole, David R. Froese of Ruidoso, New Mexico, and Maria R. Knelsen of Seminole; her two brothers Abe Rempel of Seminole and Neil Rempel of Seminole; her three sisters Maria Rempel of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Nancy Epp of Seminole and Helen Soliz of Seminole and her six grandchildren Tina F. Knelsen, Christina F. Knelsen, MaryAnne F. Knelsen, Kelly F. Knelsen, Tommy E. Froese, and Cody E. Froese, all of Seminole.
