*Obituary
Funeral services for Pearlie Jo (Dale) Martinez, age 40 of San Angelo, Texas, and formerly of Seminole, will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Barns of St. James Baptist Church of Pecos, Texas officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole, Texas. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of San Angelo and Shannon Medical Center.

Ms. Martinez was born on February 10, 1984 in Seminole, Texas to Josephine (Jones) and Bobby Lee Dale. She married Nicholas Martinez in San Angelo, Texas in 2007. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in San Angelo and a homemaker. Pearlie was a very protective, stubborn and strong-willed woman; when she set out to do something, she put total effort into getting it done. She enjoyed singing and letting her spirit shine thru her music, showing her love for Jesus. She loved her mother and her entire family dearly, therefore she never let anyone know she was ill. Pearlie was never afraid of death; her only concern was for the future of her children.

Pearlie Martinez passed away at her home in San Angelo on Wednesday, March 29, 2024.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by two half-brothers, and one half-sister. She is survived by her mother, Josephine Dale of San Angelo; her husband, Nicholas Martinez of Lubbock, Texas; one son, Adonis King Carter of San Angelo; three daughters, Nickayla Martinez, Jada Carter, and Keonna Carter, all of San Angelo; two brothers, Bobby Dale, Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, and Matthew Dale of San Angelo, Texas; one sister, Diana Dale of San Angelo, Texas; three half-brothers, David Dale, Arthur Dale, and Robert Dale and wife Portia, all of Arizona; and three half-sisters, Dorothy Jo Dale, Olinda Dale, and Ora Crush, all of Arizona.
