Graveside rites were conducted at 2 p. m Thursday for Dan Adams, 59. of Ashdown, Ark., who died Tuesday in a Texarkana, Ark., hospital.
Adams lived most of his life in Electra. He was employed in Electra more than 20 years by the Texas Company Pipeline department before his retirement. Adams moved from Electra to Ashdown in Dec. 1953.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Ashdown. The body arrived in Electra Wednesday night
Graveside services were conducted by Bro. Herbert A. Smith, minister of the Burkburnetl Church of Christ. Burial was in the New Electra Cemetery under direction of Totten Funeral Home.
Survivors are Adam's wife of Ashdown, his mother, Mrs W. R Beck of Ashdown, a brother Herman Adams of Archer City, two daughters, Mrs. J M Michalson of Fort Worth and Mrs Oliver Smith of Snyder, Texas and four grandchildren.
