When William Le Roy Rash was born on Jan 7, 1880, in Somervell, Texas, his father, William, was 43 and his mother, Mary, was 33. He married Annie Elizabeth Walsh on September 8, 1901, in Peacock, Texas. They had nine children in 14 years. He died on September 9, 1961, in Hamlin, Texas, at the age of 81, and was buried in Peacock, Texas.
