LUBBOCK - M. Dean Griffin, 61, died Friday, October 13, 1989.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Resthaven Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in Stinnett under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Mr. Griffin had lived in Lubbock since 1926, when he moved there from Borger. He was born at Tell.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Isom Masonic Lodge, and also the Dallas Scottish Rites. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two sons, Bobby Dean Griffin of Canyon and Tony Don Griffin of Fritch; two daughters, Diane Hertel and Janie Tate of Stinnett; a brother, Steve Griffin of Forth Worth; three sisters, Ronnie Murphy of Lubbock, Golda Hoffman and Melba Brown, both of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
