*Obituary

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Cryer Griffin, 43, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Griffin died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1993 in a pedestrian-vehicle accident three miles north of Borger on State Highway 136.

A native of Oklahoma, she had been a Borger resident for 35 years. She worked as a clerk in grocery stores.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Junita and Wade Cryer, and grandmother, Irene Reese.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelly Blackstone of Atlanta, Ga.; and Tonya Jack of Huntsville; two brothers, Eugene Cryer of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and Jerry Cryer of Plano; three sisters, Pat Shipley of Pampa; Martha Williams of Angleton; and Wadene West of Dickinson; and a grandchild.
