Cody S. Wright, 5, died Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at High Plains Hospital in Amarillo. The youth died of leukemia.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence D. Wright of Stinnett.
The youth was born in Amarillo Oct. 2, 1971 and had lived in Stinnett all his life.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Stinnett with the Rev. Steve Martin officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Alexander-Simpson Funeral Directors.
Survivors include the parents, a sister, Gina; two grandmothers, Hazel Lasater of Stinnnett and Zella Wright of Lubbock; and a great-grandmother, Seaph Lasater of Borger.
The family request memorials be made to the Leukemia Foundation in care of Texas University Cancer Research and Tumor Institute at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
