Funeral services for Stephen Douglas Wright, a former resident of Phillips, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Borger's First Assembly of God Church.

A resident of Pasadena and a student at Alpine's Sul Ross College, Wright was killed in a car-truck accident, Tuesday near San Ysidro, N.M. He was born in Phillips, attended elementary school there, and was a 1965 graduate of Rankin High School.

Officiating at final services will be First Assembly of God Pastor Archie Winkle. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.

Surviving are Wright's parents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Wright of Pasadena, a sister, Mrs. Gennie Lewis of Alvin, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Wright of Phillips and Mr. and Mrs. Walker Harris of New Castle.

Casketbearers will be Judge Lummus, Claude Robinson, Paul P. Robinson, Jim Wright, Wayne Britten, and Wesley Britten.
