Clarence D. Wright, 74, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 in Borger.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Stinnett United Methodist Church with Rev. Rhonda Greenwood, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Wright was born on June 28, 1933 in Lakeview, Texas and had been a Stinnett resident since 1965. He graduated from Texas Tech with a BS in Education, was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity and was on the Stinnett School Board. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher and was involved with the Texas Cattlefeeders Association. He married Gayle Lasater on March 2, 1963 in Stinnett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryan & Zella Wright,and son, Cody Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle of the home, two daughters - Gina Stills and Leia Atwood both of Amarillo, two sisters - Doris Fuggitt & husband, George of Lubbock, Glenda Drennan of Wolfforth, two grandchildren - Patrick Konechney and Sierra Stills.

Casket bearers will be Tony McCall, Gary Adams, David Garrett, Ron Cook, Mike Curry and Pat Garrett.

Memorials may be made to the Stinnett United Methodist Church, PO Box 1192, Stinnett 79083.
