BORGER - Floyd R. Wright, 87, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Rawlinson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Wright was born Feb. 1, 1914, in Bryan County, Okla. He was a retired truck driver in the transportation department at Phillips Petroleum Co.
He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a wife Atha Marie on June 19, 2001; by a son, Don Gene Wright in 1981; and by a daughter Jill Wright in 1981.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Dean Wright of Paris and Cecil D. Wright of Sheffield; a daughter, Barbara Jan Payne of Mountain Home, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Jackie Wright, Randy Wright, Erick Wright, Derick Wright, Tubby Wright, Weldon Wright, Lisa Gaston, Josh Payne and Toby Payne; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Gateway Baptist Church with Rev. Tunis Schuurman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and former employee of Dilly Bakery. She married Floyd Ray Wright on June 14, 1947.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Cecil Wright of Odessa and Harold Wright of Paris; a daughter, Barbara Payne of Mountain Home, Ark.; a sister, Wanda Jean Burke of Spearman; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
