SPEARMAN - Funeral services for Julius Walter Sanders, 83, pioneer resident of Spearman who died Monday in Hansford Hospital, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church.

The Rev. B.T. Shoemake, pastor, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Holt Cemetery near Spearman by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Mr. Sanders came to Spearman in 1900 with his parents from his birthplace in Bell County. He was a cowboy with the Turkey Track Ranch for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Rex and Fred, both of Spearman, and two sisters, Mrs. May Leverton of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Mrs. Ethel Taylor of Kycee [sic], Wyo.
