*Obituary
Services for Earl Anderson, 75, of 806 Bagwell, were held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Thrasher officiated, assisted by Chaplain Edwin Gates, of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Anderson died Sunday in North Plains Hospital. He had retired after 17 years as a businessman in Phillips.

He was born Oct. 8, 1902 in Erath County, and had been a resident of the Borger area since 1937.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355, and of Borger Shrine Club. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Scottish Rite of El Paso, and of Khiva Temple of Amarillo.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson.

Pallbearers were Bill Cox, Jeep Webb, Bob Dawson, Ivan Gates, Bill Gates, and Don Gates.

Honorary pallbearers were members of Adult Sunday church.

Interment was in Westlawn Memorial Park by Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
