Billie "Neno" Armel Anderson
April 11, 1919 - November 8, 2014

Billie Armel “Neno” Anderson died on November 8, 2014 in The Woodlands, TX due to complications following surgery for her broken arm. She was an active 95 year old. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Direction by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her wonderful life.

Armel was born April 11, 1919 in Barnsdall, OK to her mother Ida Eldonna Bennett and her father William Bennett who died before she was born. She resided at her apartment at the Carriage Inn at Conroe, TX for the last four years where she started a new chapter in her life. She played Bridge and Bingo with her new friends and was a friend to everyone she met and was dearly loved by all her family and friends. She loved Mexican food and the more cheese the better.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Fred “Dub” Anderson, her brother Sam Bennett, her sisters Thelma Hawkins, Muriel Greer and Fern Ford.

She is survived by her son Jerry Anderson and his wife Linda of Conroe, her daughter Cyndy Sanders and her husband Tommy Joe of Conroe, five granddaughters Sandra and Scott Pollock, Sonya Nobles and John Powers, Shannon and James Maloney, Stacey and Eric Drew, Tori Sanders and Jason Tredway and three great grandchildren Jordan Pollock, Rachel Pollock and Connor Smith.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 on Thursday evening.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
