*Obituary
SAN ANGELO - Raymond S. Phillips, 89, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1996 in San Angelo.
Funeral services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Phillips was a native of McCurtain, Okla., where he married Edith Routson on June 30, 1928. He moved to Borger in 1937, then moved to Panhandle and to San Angelo in 1984. He retired from J.M. Huber as a pumper. He was a Methodist.
Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Jean Leezer, in 1964.
Survivors include his wife, Edith of the home; one daughter, Jackie Hartgrove of San Angelo; two brothers, Norman Wyers of McCurtain, Okla., and Paul Wyers of New Mexico; two sisters, Catherine Hammons of Carlsbad, N.M. and Eona Adams of Oregon; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
