STINNETT - Services for Henry W. Phillips, 80, of 301 Mackenzie, are set for 3 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Gilmore, pastor of Riverview Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jake Armstrong, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dumas.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.

The body will lie in state at Alexander Funeral Home in Stinnett until services.

Mr. Phillips died at 1 a.m. Wednesday in Dumas Memorial Hospital.

He was a native of Hillsboro, and a 27 year resident of Stinnett. He was a retired ranch employee, and a member of the Church of Christ. He had worked on the Brittain Ranch, for Whittenburg Cattle Co., and the Johnson Ranch.

Survivors include his wife, Lora; two sons, Corder G. Phillips of Electric City; Fred W. Phillips of Stinnett; four daughters, Mrs. Aleen Vaughn of Borger; Mrs. Kathleen Trosper of Etter; Mrs. Sue Seigler of Houston; and Mrs. Betty Blankenship of Stinnett; two brothers, Grady Phillips of Dumas; Woodrow Phillips of Esteline; three sisters, Mrs. Flossie Dick of Vian, Okla.; Mrs. Eula Mae Spruell of Odessa; Mrs. Juanita Gilbert of Childress; 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Buzz Britain, Tige Groves, Henry Irvin, David Irvin, Bub Evans, and Bunk Farley.

Lora Ethel Phillips, 87, 301 S. MacKenzie, Stinnett, died Sunday morning, Feb. 12, 1989 at Memorial Hospital in Dumas.

Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gillmore officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.

A homemaker, she was a native of Bonham and a Panhandle area resident for 45 years. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Corder of Borger, and Fred of Midland; four daughters, Aleene Vaughn of Borger, Kathleen Trosper of Etter, Sue Seigler of Houston, and Betty Blankenship of Stinnett; one brother, John Corder of Midland; three sisters, Clara Proctor of San Angelo, Pauline Nelson of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Patra Moody of Bishop, California; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
