*Obituary
Walter A. "Bud" Phillips, 57, of 102 Turner St. in Borger, died Wednesday at High Plains Baptist Hospital.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. today at the Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Forsythe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, the Martin Road Chapel, in Amarillo.

Mr. Phillips was a steel worker. He was born in Tuttle, Okla., and a Borger resident for a number of years.

Survivors include his father, Walter L. Phillips of Borger; one daughter Wendy Renee Phillips of Borger; three sisters, Dorothy Ray of Amarillo, Barbra Russell of Roswell, N.M., and Audrey Howard of Rock Springs, Wyo.; two brothers, Leroy Phillips of Yukon, Okla., and Homer Phillips of Stinnett.
