Frank Quentin Ward, 76, Borger, died Tuesday, August 21, 1990 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Colorado City, he had been a Borger resident for 44 years. He was a chemist and lab supervisor for Phillips Petroleum Company for 36 years.
Mr. Ward was a member of Gardner Street Church of Christ, a graduate of Canyon High School, West Texas State University with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry in 1942, attended graduate school at UCLA and the University of Chicago in 1942 and 1943, prior to being commissioned as captain in the 8th Air Force where he was a meteorologist stationed in England and Germany in 1943-1945.
He married Ozline Molloy March 29, 1941 in Canyon.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son John Q. Ward of Amarillo; two daughters, Dena Bailey of Abilene and Kay Willerton of Los Alamos, N.M.; one brother, Ford Ward of Hayward, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
