BORGER - Barney Dee Ward, 70, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairlanes Baptist Church with Dr. Chad Chaddick officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Ward was born Aug. 31, 1936, in Clinton, Okla., making it to Borger "just as soon as he could." He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ivey.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kathy Loucks of Borger and Karen Stoffle of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Touching Lives Ministry, P.O. Box 2000, Atlanta, GA 30301, www.touchinglives.org; or a favorite charity.
