Borger Herald - August 29 & 31, 1933

Charles Master and Ruby Randall (Brown), ages 7 and 10, were drowned this afternoon in a pool of water east of Borger gas plant, just north of the cemetery. Their mother is Lillie Randall, and S. E. White is their grandfather.

The pool, banked up in a canyon during the recent rain, was four or five feet deep.

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the home of their grandfather, S. E. White. Rev. Walker officiated at the double funeral. Burial was in Highland cemetery.
