Delmer Lee HUMMER, aged 55, died last week in his home at Neodesha, Kans.
He was born Nov. 11, 1928 in Booker, the youngest son of Ollie B. and Beulah Boyer HUMMER. He attended schools at Huntoon, Booker, Dallas, and Perryton.
He was married to Violet WELLS of Gentry, Ark. They were later divorced.
In 1975, he retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Burial was in the Fairmont Cemetery at Follett.
Surviving are two sisters, Goldie PAYNE of El Reno, Okla., and Melvena HAZEN of Neodesha; two brothers, Emeett HUMMER of Parsons, Kans., and Harold HUMMER of Booker.
