BORGER - David A. Parker, 65, died Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Borger. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Parker was born on May 9, 1946, in Pembroke, Bermuda, and was a Borger resident for 65 years. He was married to Karla Parker Woods for 41 years.
Survivors include his wife of Borger; three daughters, Audra Miller of Boerne, Misty Deeds of Lubbock and Jana Franscell of Boerne; eight grandchildren; his mother, Annie Parker of Borger; a stepmother, Benita Parker of Bolivar, Mo; a brother, Donnie Parker of Borger; a sister, Lillian Pack of Cleburne; two stepsisters; and a half-brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be to Harrington Cancer Center Building Fund, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106; or a favorite charity.
