*Obituary
DUMAS - Dorothy Nell Parker, 70, died Saturday, June 11, 1994 in Amarillo.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Dumas with the Rev. Jerry Clark, pastor Bible Baptist Church of Dumas, officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Westlawn Memorial Park with local arrangements by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Martha, Oklahoma, she moved to Borger in 1941 and then to Dumas in 1977. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Dumas. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1972.
She married Howard Parker, Sr. December, 1941 in Guymon, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include her son, Howard Parker, Jr. of Longview; two daughters, Carolyn Gable and Linda Eads of Amarillo; two sisters, Jane Hurst of Amarillo, and Joy Gable of Roseburg, Oregon; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
