James Daniel Russell, 65, of Clute, died Wednesday in Freeport.
Graveside rites will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mr. Russell had been a longtime resident of Fritch. He left the area in 1964.
The family will be at the home of George E. Wolf, 205 S. Robey, Fritch.

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Alice Russell, 44, of Fritch, are at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Calvary Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Charles Broadhurst, officiating.
Burial in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Simpson Funeral Home.
Casketbearers are Kenny Titsworth, Jackie Wakefield, Gene Thompson, Robert Davis, Lawrence Floyd, James Krapp.
Mrs. Russell died Saturday in North Plains Hospital. Born in Shidler, Okla., she had lived in Fritch 18 years.
Surviving are the husband, J.D.; son, Thomas Baker, Freeport; brother, Clifton Skaggs, Pampa; sister, Mrs. Mildred Wolfe, Oak Creek, Colo.
