Funeral services for Leon Eugene Russell, 58, of Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Russell died Monday, Jan. 31, 1994 at his home. He was a mechanic for Payton Machine Shop and a Borger resident since 1949.
Mr. Russell was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a graduate of Borger High School.
Survivors include two sons, Leslie Russell and Brett Russell, both of Borger; two daughters, Denise Godwin, of Birmingham, Ala., and Carmen Estep, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Tom Russell, of Albuquerque, N.M.; and seven grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Gerald Payton, George Payton, Wayne Powell, Jerry Hudson, Wes Aikens and Ronnie Klaus.
