FRITCH - Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Fritch for James Alexander West, 72, a resident of Hutchinson County since 1940.
Officiating will be the Rev. B.G. Hill, pastor. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Simpson Funeral Home of Borger.
Mr. West died Thursday morning at North Plains Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Natural Gas Pipeline Co.
Surviving are his wife, Frances; three sons, John A. of Fritch, Allen Lee of 1306 Lockney in Amarillo and Darrell D. of Shidler, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Sybil Cowan of Fritch and Mrs. Nina Jones of Manhattan, Ill.; five brothers, M.E. of Fritch, Victor of Norman, Okla.; Jack of Borger, W.W. of Burleson and Dan of 901 N. Houston in Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Emma M. Cathey of Fritch; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Frances Louretta West, 76, have been set for 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Temple United Pentecostal Church. The Rev. James R. Jordan, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under Alexander Funeral Directors.
Mrs. West, a housewife, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday in Amarillo. She was a native of Eastland County and a Fritch resident for 40 years.
She was a member of Bethel Temple United Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are two sons, Allen L. of Amarillo and Darrell D. of Montazeuma [sic] Creek, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Sybil Mae Cowan of Maracabo [sic], Venezuela and Mrs. Nina Faye Jones of Mooresville, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Mae McJunkins of Dallas; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
