Funeral services for L.B. West, 80, Borger, were at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Miller, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mr. West died Friday, Jan. 5, 1990, in St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.
A native of Nevada County, Arkansas, he had been a Borger resident for 46 years.
He was a retired employee at Phillips Philtex Plant. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he was a deacon, past Worshipful Master with Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242, member of the York Rite and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, and was the first president of the OCAW Union in Borger.
Survivors include two sons, Bob West of Dallas; and Beryl West of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one daughter, Myrna Jones of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, W.T. West of Amarillo; 9 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Jerry Waggoner, Bob Schnell, Joe Boyett, Clarence Moore, Leon Pepper, and Jerrie Keith.

Lota B. West, 77, 308 W. Monroe, died early Sunday morning in Amarillo.
A homemaker, she was a native of Newark, Texas, and a longtime Borger resident.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married L.B. West on February 25, 1929 at Amarillo.
She is survived by her husband, L.B. of the home; two sons, Bob West of Dallas, Beryl West of Murfreesboro, Ten.; one daughter, Myrna Jones of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Miller and Rev. Jerry Evans.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society of [sic] the First Baptist.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Waggoner, Joe Kitchens, Johnny Rusten, David Willard, George Hanna, Randy Hanna, and Johnny Rusten [sic].
