*Obituary
Robert J. Holt Sr., 91, died Friday in Amarillo.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with Rev. Herschel Thurston of Amarillo, Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mr. Holt, born in Bronson, Kansas, moved to Wheeler in 1908. He was in the banking business in the family bank until his retirement in 1970. He had lived in Marble Falls and Granbury and for the past three months, had lived in Amarillo. He was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge. He married Bonnie Carr in 1927 in Claude.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Margaret Wilson of Amarillo and Mary Meadows of Wheeler; a sister, Clarice Holt of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Mike Holt, Brady Meadows, Mitchell Meadows, Robert Meadows, Stephen Meadows and Ralph Wilson.
