*Obituary
WHEELER - Avis Louise Miller, 57, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Wheeler with Shawn Davis of Canadian officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Miller was born in Hugoton, Kan., and attended school in Hugoton and Dumas. She graduated from Dumas High School and moved to Wheeler 29 years ago.
Mrs. Miller was a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts and a member of the Band Booster Club. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Goldsmith of Allison and Charlie Miller of Odessa; two brothers, Ricky Baldwin of Anthony, Kan., and Ronnie Baldwin of Hutchinson, Kan.; two sisters, Marcita Tuman of Lemoore, Calif., and Betty Morris of Hutchinson; and four grandchildren.
