Joe Beene

Services are pending for Joe Beene, 69, of Lubbock. His body will be cremated today at Memorial Park Crematory in Amarillo under the direction of Gililland Watson Funeral Home.

He was found dead Friday at the Traveler's Inn, 1711 Ave. Q. Justice of the Peace Bill Ross ruled he died of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 9, 1914 in Hereford and served in the Navy during World War II.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Jay Beene of Friona.
