HEREFORD - Final rites for Clifford M. Hicks, 86, a Hereford builder and contractor since about 1910, were set at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church here.
Dr. W.A. Appling, pastor, was to officiate with burial to be in West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mr. Hicks died Tuesday in Deaf Smith General Hospital. He had been a Hereford resident since 1908.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; three sons, Donald and Bob, both of Hereford and Elmo of 206 Georgia in Amarillo; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Belle Hawkins of Tulia and Mrs. Mary Beth Thomas of Soap Lake, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to favorite charities.
