SPEARMAN - Bill K. Jackson, 74, died Monday, May 29, 2000.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Don Wirsdorfer officiating. Burial will be in Holt Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Mr. Jackson was born in Ochiltree County and was a lifetime resident of the area. He attended West Texas State University. He was a farmer and a member of First Christian Church. He was a member of the Stationmaster's House Museum Board and the Hansford County Historical Society.
Mr. Jackson married Estelle Terry in 1946 at Spearman.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ann Burch of Aurora, Colo., and Kay Wade of South Padre Island; a son, Jim Jackson of Amarillo; a sister, Barbara Rosser of Guymon, Okla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Stationmaster's House Museum of Spearman or a favorite charity.
