Obituary for Harold
KINGSLAND - Harold Leon Jackson, 76, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1995 in Kingsland.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. C.N. Rue of Amarillo, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Pawhuska, Okla., he had lived in Kingsland since 1987. He was a former Amarillo and Borger resident. He was a safety director retired from Phillips Petroleum Company after 40 years of service. He was a Baptist, and U.S. World War II Navy veteran.

He was a member of the American Legion of Kingsland, and was a lifetime member.

He married Ada Muriel Lewis on Oct. 28, 1937 at Newkirk, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, 13 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jim Jackson of Amarillo; a daughter, Kay Williams of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Marie Holman of Ponca City, Okla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Buchanan West Baptist Church in Buchanan Dam, Texas.

Obituary for Ada
BORGER - Ada Muriel Jackson, 89, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, in Albuquerque, N.M.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Terry Stegall of Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Texas County, Mo. She moved to Albuquerque in 2003 after the death of her son, James, to be near her daughter and family after several years in Amarillo.

She married Harold Leon Jackson in 1937 in Newkirk, Okla. She and Harold were longtime residents of Phillips and Borger, where she worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 18 years. Harold preceded Ada in death in 1995 while living in Kingsland.

Ada enjoyed traveling to Europe and the good ole USA and going on many fishing trips.

Survivors include a daughter, Kay Williams of Albuquerque; a sister, Beulah Lindesmith of Jefferson City, Mo.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
