Obituary for Bert
Bert Jackson, 203 Hickory, died at 11:39 a.m. in High Plains Baptist Hospital, Amarillo.
He was a retired operator for Phillips, and a native of Cairo, Ill. He was a Borger resident for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lizzie, three sons, Jim of Muskogee, Okla., J.R. and Bill, both of Borger; one sister, Rosie States of Borger, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. David White, First Assembly of God Church, Fritch, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons, Funeral Directors.

Obituary for Lizzie
Lizzie Jackson, 93, of Borger, died Thursday Feb. 20, 1997 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997 at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Jim Russell, pastor of Fritch Nazarene Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors.
A native of Searcy, Ark., she had been a Borger resident for 52 years.
She was a Baptist.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bert C. Jackson in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Jackson and J.R. Jackson, both of Borger and James R. Jackson of Muskogee, Okla.; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be David Jackson, Allan Jackson, Bob Jackson, Greg Jackson, Colby Forrester, Corbit Jackson and John Jackson.
Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
