*Obituary
Services for Bill Cooper, 57, of 1210 Thompson, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Street Church of Christ with Tom Hargoess of Clarendon officiating, and Darnell Boyd and Delber [sic] McLoud of Gardner Street Church of Christ, and Charles Kymes of Johnson Park Church of Christ, assisting.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Cooper died at 7 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
A gang pusher for Phillips Petroleum Company, Mr. Cooper was born in Vernon. He had been a Borger resident for 35 years.
A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Gardner Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Grace; one daughter, Lori of the home; one son, Jerry of Plemons; his father, E.J. of Shamrock; four brothers, Hollis of Amarillo, J.M., Bob and Paul of Borger; one sister, Mrs. Juanita Whitten of Borger; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Flo Cooper, and two brothers, Jack and R.D.
Pallbearers will be Joe Ray, L.G. Fanshier, J.D. Walton, R.L. Gosnell, Clell Bonifield, and Marvin Goodall.
