Joseph Morris Cooper, 73, Borger, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 1994 in his home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson Park Church of Christ with Mr. Sam Sidders, minister, and Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of Gardner Street Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Eliasville, he had been a Borger resident for 56 years. He was a retired dirt contractor, and Church of Christ member. He was a World War II U.S. Marine veteran.
He married Edna Gordon on Sept. 9, 1939 in Texola, Okla.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters, Jeanie Nix of Borger; Phyllis McIlroy of Lubbock; two brothers, Bob Cooper of Stinnett; and Paul Cooper of Borger; a sister, Juanita Whitten of Borger; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle of High Plains Children's Home.
